Junagarh Fort:
It is
one of the most impressive and charming forts in North India. The charisma of
this monumental structure lies in its colonnades, steep stone stairs, frescoed
rooms, public corridors, decorated balconies (jharokha), kiosks, royal rooms,
screened windows and well-developed public corridors. It is the living
testimony of the royalty and splendor of the daring Rajputana rulers. According
to the story, it is an impregnable and intact fortress built by the sixth ruler
of Bikaner Raja Rai Singh. This fortress is surrounded by a 986 meter long
stone wall with 37 bastions. The deep moat that surrounded the stone wall made
it impossible for the enemy to attack this place. The Surajpol and the
Daulatpol are the two important gates of this fortress. Surajpol was the main
gate of the fortress, while in Daulatpol you can see the handprints of the
royal ladies who committed sati in the Pyrenees.
Karni Mata Temple or Deshnok
Temple:
This is
a 600 year old temple dedicated to Karni Mata, an incarnation of the goddess
Durga. The temple is made of marble. The most striking feature of this temple
is the 20,000 rats that are fed, protected, and worshiped. In the courtyard of
the temple, you can see the huge metal bowls with milk, candy and cereal that
are supposed to feed the mice. If a rat (Kaba) walks on its own two feet, it
should be very lucky. And to see a white mouse in this place is considered a
blessing from the goddess who grant the desires of the devotees.

Golden Jubilee Museum:
It is
one of the best museums in Rajasthan, known for its fabulous collection of
antiques and artillery. Tourists come here to see the collection of antiques
such as jewelry, stone vases, royal clothes and ornaments. This museum is also
known for its rare and royal items such as daggers, security shields and
revolvers used by former rulers.
Bikaner is known worldwide for
its "Bikaneri Bhujia", a salty spice that is also known for various
sweets. It is also known for its woolen scarves, blankets, and colorful
carpets.
